Twin Cities RISE! (TCR!) is an innovative anti-poverty organization created in 1994 that provides long-term job training designed for those facing the most barriers to self-sufficiency. It was started by Steve Rothschild, a former Executive Vice President at General Mills, who was motivated to find a solution to the poverty experienced by many people of color in the Twin Cities. He formed TCR! to both respond to the needs of the market and provide long-term training for low-income adults to get a living wage job.
