When you make a financial or in-kind donation, either online or offline, you provide your name and contact information. Financial donors provide standard payment information including, in many cases, credit card data.

Donor financial information collected and recorded:

TCR collects the following personal information from our donors: donor name, acknowledgement name, amount donated, giving history, address, telephone number, email address, and in some cases, other non-financial information. Financial donors provide standard payment information including, in many circumstances, credit card data. We protect your information in a variety of ways by using industry standard safeguards including measures such as encryption, access controls, network firewalls and physical security.

How we use donor information:

Donor information is used for internal purposes only. TCR does not sell, rent, trade or share its donor list with any other organization nor do we send out mailings on behalf of other organizations. Only authorized staff members have ongoing access to donor information and records. On occasion, TCR Board or committee members may have limited access to donor records. All individuals having access to donor records are required to abide by this policy. TCR publicly recognizes donor gifts in our annual report and other online and print material, unless a donor requests anonymity.

Online donor transactions with TCR are conducted over secure portals. Every reasonable effort is made to secure the privacy of donor information online. Access to online data is passwordprotected and limited to authorized employees.
