This training focuses on your individual development, Personal Empowerment, Career Training, and the 21st Century Skills that today’s employers are looking for. Graduates of this program typically double or triple their annual income. Your career coach will work with you to develop a career plan while providing you with the resources needed to achieve your goals.

TO QUALIFY FOR TWIN CITIES R!SE, YOU MUST:

    • Be able to work legally in the U.S.
    • Be at least 18 years old
    • Be willing to work full-time (32+hrs)
    • Have a personal earned income of no more than $29,160 in the previous year
    • Demonstrate English fluency and basic literacy
    • Have no criminal sexual conduct crime or arson charges
    • Must be a resident in the 7 county metro area: Anoka, Carver, Dakota, Hennepin, Ramsey, Scott, or Washington county in Minnesota.

Career Pathways

We offer shorter training programs that are hybrid towards specific careers and industry sectors. These programs have been created in partnership with employers to customize your learning for the workplace! 80% of graduates have begun new careers!

These sessions include:

  • Personal Empowerment Training

  • 1:1 career coaching for a minimum of 2 years
  • Specific sector training

Facilities Maintenance Specialist
Additional training achievements can include; OSHA 10 OR OSHA 30, general safety practices, intro to skilled trades, and a boilers license.

Customer Support / Empowered Communications
Includes hybrid customer service technology and software, communication and relationship-building skills, specific customer engagement skills and terminology, and a dedicated curriculum that is used in various customer service sectors. 

My Road to Success – Individualized Career Pathway
Professional development that is tailored to you! Whether you aren’t certain where you’re heading in your career, or you know exactly what you’d like to do but need help getting there, this customized training is for you! Includes career exploration and planning, identifying transferable skills, and more. 

Diesel Tech – Ramsey County Residents Ages 18-30 Only
This is the perfect training for those interested in inspecting, repairing, overhauling, and/or maintaining diesel engines. This 8-week training will teach you diesel technician fundamentals including preventative maintenance, diagnostic systems, and engine troubleshooting.
